The 2023 season was a successful one for the Baltimore Ravens unfit wasn’t. Baltimore came up short of their goal of winning a Super Bowl and the Kansas City Chiefs stood in the way of that.

It was a close 17-10 loss for the Ravens that stopped them from reaching the Super Bowl to square off with the Chiefs. Of course, the NFL loves storylines and Week 1 is going to have just that.

Baltimore will get their chance at payback against Kansas City to open the season. Even if the stakes are much lower, winning that game could be a big start for the 2024 season. The opponent for the Ravens is already thinking about the game.

“The Baltimore Ravens. That's all I'm thinking about right now be quite honest with you. I mean, listen, we know they're gonna be all fired up,” Kansas City defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo said on Monday. “And that's a good football team. So that's, that's what I'm thinking about right now.”

Spagnuolo’s defense lived up to the hype in that game back in January. Baltimore was held to 81 yards rushing on 16 attempts and those numbers were well below their average and a difference in the game. The game could have gone either way and a Zay Flowers fumble late was very hurtful to Baltimore . Of course, that play was forced by Spagnuolo’s unit.

September is a bit away but with training camp starting back up the season is going to be here before we know it. Expect the hype around this rematch to grow much more before that happens. It will be a star-studded game that could go down to the wire right out of the gates.
