Two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson has practiced for only an hour the first few days of training camp because of an illness, and he was still not on the field Friday.

The Baltimore Ravens announced that the team's medical staff is still evaluating Jackson as he sits out workouts.

"QB Lamar Jackson remains sidelined with an illness and will not practice today," the official Ravens account wrote Friday on X (formerly Twitter). "He continues to undergo further evaluation and receive care from our medical team."

After the team's update, fans sent their best wishes to Jackson on social media to get better as soon as possible.

Jackson has missed four of his team's first five practices to begin training camp. The one practice he participated in, he didn't finish.

“He’s fighting through an illness, working with our doctors,” Harbaugh said via Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams. “He’s doing all the tests—even more tests—to make sure we get everything covered. I’m confident he’ll be back pretty soon.

"It’s just [an] unpredictable deal. I mean, you guys have been sick before. You know sometimes it’s not easy. So, that’s what we’re dealing with.”

Jackson won the NFL MVP award while leading the Ravens to a league-best 13-4 record last season and the top seed in the AFC.
