Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson made a trip to southern Maine last weekend as part of his business venture with a recreational cannabis company.

The Tyson 2.0 cannabis brand was founded by the boxer in October 2021, just a year after Maine legalized recreational cannabis use . Tyson’s brand is sold at East Coast Cannabis in Eliot, where he made the Friday stop.

According to Seacoast Online , East Coast Cannabis started carrying Tyson 2.0 products in 2023. On Friday, Tyson took pictures with some of the customers, as well as promoting East Coast Cannabis’ new 15,500-square-foot cultivation space, which is expected to open in September.

One customer who was able to take a picture with Tyson posted the photo with the caption “Ain’t life grand and wonderful” in a Facebook post about the interaction.
