Greenwood’s Maya Gantt to run at Lees-McRae College
Maya Gantt of Greenwood High School will be moving to Banner Elk, North Carolina to pursue running cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field at Lees-McRae College. During high school, Gantt participated in the standard 5000m (3.1 miles) cross country run in the fall and in spring track events such as the 800m run, 1600m run, 3200m run, and the 4x800m relay.

The Catamount men's and women's cross country teams' 2024 schedule, announced by head coach Jesse Norman, includes a familiar season opener in Boone, N.C., and a preview of the conference championship meet.
