The Village of Baraga held two ribbon cuttings Monday afternoon, one for the village's Capul Recreational Park, and another for the second phase of the Keweenaw Bay Non-Motorized Pathway.
New Baraga playground officially opens Wednesday
BARAGA, MI— The Department of Natural Resources is holding a ribbon-cutting Wednesday for the new, accessible playground at Baraga State Park. The playground boasts swings, a wavy arch for a touchy-feely experience, and a tree fort playscape complete with climbing rocks, triple and spiral slides, log steps, a balance beam, climbing nets, and connecting platforms. It all sits on a rubberized surface that makes access easier for all mobility levels.
