One person fatally shot in Barclay, according to police
A man was fatally shot in Barclay on Thursday night, according to Baltimore Police. Officers were sent to the 1900 block of Greenmount Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting around 9 p.m. Once there, they found an unresponsive 42-year-old man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.
Early Morning Camper Fire Under Investigation in Queen Anne's County
CHESTERTOWN, MD - Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a camper fire that occurred in Queen Anne's County on Thursday morning. On Thursday, at approximately 4:45am, Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal say a fire broke out at 500 Double Creek Pt. Road in Chestertown, Maryland. The incident was described as a fire in a "30' aluminum camper with attached living quarters".
Seven from Lancaster charged with theft over LGBTQ Items
CHESTERTOWN — Three out-of-state men were charged by the Chestertown Police Department for the theft of Pride flags (representing LGBTQ+) and other rainbow-themed items taken from the Emmanuel Church on Cross Street during the weekend of the Juneteenth celebration, June 15, 16. In all, nine victims of theft were identified. The crimes occurred on Cross Street, Cannon Street, Greenwood Avenue, Water Street, and High Street. The total loss to the victims is estimated by police at approximately $1,400. ...
