Teen Suspected of Attempted Exxon Break-In Arrested in Glen Burnie, Accomplice Sought by Police
In an early morning incident at Glen Burnie, police responding to a 911 call arrested a 16-year-old male suspected of attempting to break into an Exxon gas station. The Anne Arundel County Police Department reported that the call came in at approximately 12:40 a.m. for an attempted burglary at 720 Aquahart Road. An officer, already monitoring the Computer Aided Dispatch system, arrived on the scene to find one of the suspects at the shattered entrance before any formal dispatch was issued.
Boat Fire in Royal Oak, Talbot County
The St. Michaels Volunteer Fire Department responded to a boat fire that occurred on Bellevue Road in Royal Oak– Talbot County at around 7:00 this morning. The fire started on the inside of the boat, and according to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal, the preliminary cause was an unspecified electrical event that was accidental. Damage to the vessel– a 1983 – 15′ Boston Whaler–and its contents is estimated to be around $12,000. No injuries were reported.

The black rooster decal on the bottle’s neck designates this wine as being from the original Chianti Classico designation whose boundary was determined by a race between knights from Siena and Firenze and that boundary still exists today. Istine’s three vineyards are located in Castellina in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti and Radda in Chianti. Even in warm vintages, the family’s 20 hectares thrive in the high altitude and rocky soils of their three vineyards.

Salisbury mayor reacts to judge’s denial of housing development appeal
SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury leaders say they are working to find a way to help progress a housing project, planned for downtown. Recently, Wicomico County Circuit Court Judge W. Newton Jackson III denied an appeal from Salisbury Town Centers Apartments, LLC. The appeal asked the judge to allow a special exception to the City of Salisbury’s zoning for density. In this case, the developer had asked for an exception on increasing that density.
14-year-old charged with murder in connection to June Ellendale homicide
ELLENDALE, Del. – A 14-year-old has been arrested in connection to a June homicide in Ellendale. The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on June 9th, in the 12000 block of North Old State Road. Troopers arrived at the scene to learn that a 17-year-old female had been shot and taken to the Ellendale Fire Company before being taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. A second victim, a 19-year-old man, was taken to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
