Leo & Company café and market opens in the Essex Experience
ESSEX TOWN — A new spot for healthy and fresh breakfast and lunch options has opened in the Essex Experience. Leo & Company is the newest one-stop shop for sandwich, salad, juice and smoothie options that are locally-sourced and nutritious. The café and market opened last week, occupying the space of the former Sweet Clover Market, which operated as a health foods market for over 17 years in Essex before closing earlier this year.

NEWPORT — A North Troy homeowner called police on July 23 to say someone had broken into his house while he and his wife were on a three-day camping trip. According to Vermont State Police Trooper Anthony Rice the caller said he left home on July 19 and returned home around 4:30 p.m. on July 22.

HINESBURG, Vt. (WCAX) - Students at Vermont’s largest high school are rolling up their sleeves and getting in the garden as part of a program focused on sustainability. A group of students at Champlain Valley Union High School are developing somewhat of a green thumb, bringing their own fresh produce to a new farm stand.

Campriello joined Hula in September of 2023 as Chief Growth Officer to develop and drive strategic initiatives to extend the organization's impact.

U.S. Marshals seek prisoner who escaped during treatment at New Hampshire hospital
U.S. Marshals are searching for an escaped prisoner who authorities say managed to evade authorities when he was brought to a New Hampshire hospital for medical treatment. Anthony Clark, 41, was being held at the Belknap County Department of Corrections for domestic violence charges, including strangulation, simple assault, stalking, and witness tampering. During a visit to Concord Hospital - Laconia, Clark was able to get free of an ankle monitoring device and escape the area, authorities say. The ankle bracelet was found off hospital grounds.
