Bartlesville man killed in early morning alley shooting

The Bartlesville Police Department (BPD) is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Monday morning.

At approximately 12:50 a.m. on July 8, the police received a call about a gunshot in the 1400 block of West Hensley and a man laying in the alley.

After arriving on scene, officers began administering life-saving measures until medical personnel arrived. Police say the victim died from a gunshot wound after being transported to the hospital.

The Bartlesville Police Department Criminal Investigations unit is currently investigating the incident. More information will be released once it becomes available.

BPD urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the BDS at (918) 338-4001.
