Memphis Heat Advisory Issued, Residents Warned as Heat Index May Hit 107 Degrees
The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a heat advisory that is now in effect for a large swath of the Mid-South region. According to the latest alert, there will be a heat index reaching up to 107 degrees expected today. This advisory covers East Arkansas, North Mississippi, Southeast Missouri, and West Tennessee. The conditions are forecasted from 10 a.m. this morning to 8 p.m. CDT this evening.
