"That tells me how weak he is as a person" - Dennis Schroder disses Kevin Durant over Euro vs. USA playstyle disagreement

There’s no love lost between Dennis Schroder and Kevin Durant . Schroder ruffled some feathers when he said Europe’s cerebral, high-IQ approach will eventually catch up with the United States’ entertainment-first style.

That didn’t sit well with Durant, who immediately responded through social media after Team USA’ s gold medal win. The Slim Reaper insinuated that the Americans provide both entertainment and IQ. Now, the ball is on the German national team captain’s court, and he had to say something about it.

“Then they won, and Kevin Durant tweet: High IQ and entertainment,” reacted Schroder. “ For me, that’s just being weak. That type of star, and you had to say something to a person like me, who never meant it to be negative. Just what I see from both sides.”

“I didn’t appreciate it. I don’t care. At the end of the day, that tweet, or whatever he posted, it was because of me. For me, it was never no negative stuff. I respect all these guys, all GOATs. But to say that tells me how weak he is as a person. It is what it is. Not everybody is strong, not everybody is in a good place,” the Brooklyn Nets guard added.

    All in a day’s work

Schroder can flatter himself all he wants here, but it’s just another day in the office for the 14-time NBA All-Star. KD is known for engaging fans on social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter), and he’s not stopping anytime soon. If anything, that’s why he’s on it in the first place.

Apparently, the Suns forward feels very strongly about Europe vs. USA/NBA topics. In September last year, Durant went all out against a fan who said the Euroleague is harder than the NBA. The 2014 NBA MVP said the fan ‘was trying hard to be different’ and sarcastically wished him well on the Euroleague package he ordered.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see how Kevin responds to the newest slander. Will he clap back on social media or handle it on the court?
