As of this weekend, a Cousins Maine Lobster food truck is a permanent fixture in KC. You may have heard of the LA-based franchise before. Owners (and cousins) Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis pitched it on ABC’s investor reality show Shark Tank in 2012. The pair’s dream to share their local Maine family traditions was a success and they walked out with a $55,000 investment from real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran. According to The Star, as of today, the franchise has food trucks and a handful of full-service restaurants in over 40 cities.

Airlines are slowly resuming operations Friday, after a global IT outage forced many flights at the Portland International Jetport to be delayed or canceled.
