Section of Water Street in Augusta temporarily closed off
AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - A section of Water Street in Augusta was closed last night. According to Augusta Police, an alleged aggravated assault caused the section from the Walgreens to Green Street to be temporarily closed. Augusta P.D. made the point that as of this afternoon, public safety was not in danger.
