(CBS) -- A Bucks County mom has a new robotic arm, thanks to an occupational therapy team at Widener University.Getting around is challenging for Victoria Nedza, who has a rare form of muscular dystrophy. E. STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- Court records out of Monroe County allege a 43-year-old man recorded two girls and an adult woman in the bathroom with hidden cameras. John Swineford, 43, of East Stroudsburg is accused of recording footage of a 17-year-old and 12-year-old without their knowledge. Significant Damage Reported in Parts of Hunterdon County
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - On July 17, 2024, an intense storm hit parts of Hunterdon County. The wild weather event had reported 60+ mph winds, a significant barometric pressure drop and 30 degree temperature dive and was documented by the Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station located at the Snyder Research & Extension Farm in Pittstown. As many as 15,000 households experienced loss of power. Quakertown Fire Company has established a Command Post at the fire station. Representatives from Franklin Township, Police and DPW are engaged with the QFC team; all roads have been driven, all blockages have been noted and JCP&L has been informed of all issues. Trees and power lines are down all over the area, and officials caution drivers to obey the warnings of roads closed and reroute. Downed wires can still be live and can cause injury and death. The Hunterdon Parks Department is also reporting numerous trails with damage. Please follow the guidance posted on trails. Trail goers risk injury as fallen trees can be unstable.
