    No. 1 Prospect In Nevada Commits To Major SEC Program

    Elite four-star wide receiver Derek Meadows announced his commitment to the LSU Tigers on Saturday evening. The 6-foot-6, 205-pound wide receiver committed to the Tigers over Notre Dame, Michigan, Alabama and Georgia.

    Meadows, a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, recorded 15 receptions for 391 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns in his sophomore season with Bishop Gorman High School (NV), propelling the program to a Nevada 5A title.

    Meadows is the No. 41 overall prospect and No. 7 wide receiver in the class of 2025. He also ranks as the No. 1 prospect in Nevada, according to On3's Industry Rankings .

    Following Meadows' commitment, LSU's 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 3 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC. He will join an impressive class that includes five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, cornerback DJ Pickett, and running back Harlem Berry.

    The addition of Meadows to the Tigers brings the program to 18 pledges as head coach LSU continues its ascent to one of the nation's top recruiting class in 2025.
