BATON ROUGE — Preparations for the 2024 college football officially get underway for LSU football this week.

The full team is scheduled to report to campus and slated to open preseason practice later this week. The Tigers are entering the third season under head coach Brian Kelly and will kickoff the 2024 season against the USC Trojans in Las Vegas as part of the Vegas Kickoff Class Sunday, Sept. 1.

LSU-USC are slated to start at 6:30 p.m. (ABC).

Per most Vegas sportsbooks, the Tigers' win total for this season is set at 9.5 .

The SEC looks different as well with the conference officially welcoming Oklahoma, which LSU will play to end the regular season this November, and Texas to the SEC this summer.
