BATTLE CREEK - We came up with our list for the Top 10 Greatest Athletes of All Time at Pennfield.

Then we asked you for your opinion in our Battle Creek Enquirer poll.

After all the votes were in, you have given us your answer.

According to the readers of the Enquirer, the Top 10 Greatest Athletes of All Time at Pennfield — is Doug Geno in the male division and Mary Kay Jenkins in the female division .

Here are the winning bios:

Mary Kay Jenkins – Class of 1983

Mary Kay Jenkins was part of state championships teams at Pennfield in volleyball and basketball. She was a key member of the Panthers' 1980 Class C state championship basketball team as a sophomore, while also helping the volleyball team claim the 1981 Class C state titles. She was also a member of Pennfield's Class C state runner-up volleyball teams in 1982 and 1983. A three-time All-City and All-State selection, she signed to play at the University of Wisconsin. She shared the Enquirer Athlete of the Year Award in 1981.

Doug Geno – Class of 1984

A star in football and track, Doug Geno was also a standout in wrestling as an underclassman. The versatile athlete made his furthest advances in football by earning a scholarship to play that sport at Central Michigan University. Geno was all-state for a playoff football team as a two-way lineman. He went on to win the state title in the shot put as a senior at the Class C track finals. He graduated with school records in both the discus and the shot put. He was named Enquirer Athlete of the Year in 1984.
