Thrilling Thursday At Glendalough State Park
Glendalough State Park will host a holiday “Thrilling Thursday” -, July 4 featuring a beginning canoeing program in the morning and an archery program in the afternoon. Both programs will begin at the Molly Stark picnic area. Beginning canoeing takes place from 9:30-11:30 a.m., and pre-registration is required. Participants learn canoeing basics and take a short trip on the water. Meet at the fishing pier.
Pickleball Club Gathers At Site
The newly formed Battle Lake Pickleball Club had a fund raising kick-off Tuesday, June 25. Board members Sheryl Olson (left in costume) and Pat Kava (in photo) at the proposed site where four courts will be built in the City of Battle Lake. At this time, $30,000 toward the goal of $170,000 has been received. The club is offering free lesson, please register on Facebook, Instagram and by calling Pat 218-731-9619 or Sheryl 218-205-6028.
