Inclement weather forces ONSL playoffs to begin in New Bern; Game 2 is in Tarboro
Inclement weather has delayed the start of the Old North State League baseball playoff series between the Tarboro River Bandits and the New Bern Southpaws. Rather than the best-of-three series beginning tonight (Thursday) at Municipal Stadium in Tarboro, the series will shift to New Bern for the first game on Friday night. Game Two will be back in Tarboro on Saturday (July 27) with a 7 p.m. start at Municipal Stadium. The third game, if necessary, would be played on Sunday (July 28) in New Bern. Those wanting to attend the games in New Bern should check their pages for the official start time of those contests.
