Driver struck by gunfire on Williams Street; police say small child was inside vehicle
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Police responded to the area of Dauphin Island Parkway and Senator Street Monday night, where they found a gunshot victim inside a vehicle. According to the Mobile Police Department, the male driver and the vehicle were struck by gunfire while traveling on Williams Street a short time earlier. Investigators said a small child was also inside the vehicle at the time the driver suffered the gunshot wound.
