LI school districts sue social-media companies for ‘harm’ to adolescents: ‘Record levels’ of mental issues
Nearly a dozen Long Island school districts are suing social-media giants such as Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat, claiming the “addictive and dangerous” platforms cause mental-health woes in kids. Long Island Music Hall of Fame Announces Summer Concert Lineup
The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame in Stony Brook, Long Island announced its summer concert calendar July through August. The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame or, LIMEHOF, was created to celebrate the history of musical talent in Long Island. As a result it was officially born in 2004 after the decades-long buildup to the music hot-spot that Long Island is Today.

Kathy Hochul announced the repaving of the Robert Moses Causeway, Veterans Memorial Highway between Old Willets Path and Jericho Turnpike, and Route 25 between CR 83 and Coram-Mount Sinai Road, (Newsday, Jnue 30) but nothing about the Long Island Expressway from exits 62 to 72. Once again, they forget about the East End people who also pay taxes. Every summer we get invaded by our up-island neighbors who also use this portion of the L.I. E. This section of the L.I.
