Louise Jarmon Hopkinson scholarship winners announced for Lewes nursing school

LEWES — The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare have announced the winners of the annual Louise Jarmon Hopkinson scholarship, based on academic performance.

Emily Rudis of Milford, who had the highest academic average through the fall semester of her senior year at Rollins, and Chloe Sylvester of Milton, who is the first-year nursing student with the highest academic average through the fall semester, were named as winners.

The scholarship is presented in honor of Ms. Hopkinson, a 1932 graduate of the Beebe School of Nursing. She served in the Army Nurse Corps and as a private-duty nurse at Beebe for many years.
