DOVER — Bally’s Dover Casino Resort recently donated $6,000 to the Delaware Council on Gambling Problems.

Nick Polcino, vice president and general manager of Bally’s Dover, along with executives Steve Keener, Brian Bedder and Nick Mavromatis presented the check to Delaware Council on Gambling Problems Executive Director Arlene Simon.

“It is important for Bally’s Dover to show our continued support of responsible gaming, and we are honored to do our part to help organizations that benefit within our surrounding communities,” Mr. Polcino said in a press release. “It is also an initiative for the entire Bally’s Corporation to make responsible gaming a top priority. “

Delaware Council on Gambling Problems is a nonprofit health agency founded in 1979 to provide programs and services for problem gamblers and their families.

Its mission is to raise public awareness that problem gambling disorders are treatable and to facilitate the development of a network of services for problem gamblers and their families.
