County approves funding for Millsboro Chamber, Visitor's Center

GEORGETOWN — Owing to a request from Anne Angel, director of the Millsboro Chamber, for $5,000 to upgrade its website and office, the Sussex County Council instead granted $2,000 from Council Vice President John Reiley’s account.

Reporting some financial woes from events that didn’t go off as planned, as well as the aging website, plus the chamber hasn’t made any requests in a while led the council to endorse the grant.

The request did not include specific prices for services like web or graphic design, or quotes on pieces of furniture, just a general request for funds.
