County to review gas station/convenience store near schools

GEORGETOWN — The Sussex County Council will review a project recommended for approval to install a convenience store with fueling stations at the corner of John J. Williams Hwy and Mulberry Knoll Road, adjacent to both Love Creek Elementary and Beacon Middle schools.

The review will take place during its regular meeting on Aug. 27.

It is one of five public hearings held consecutively beginning at 1:30 p.m., the others include a residential development, expansion of utility operations for Delaware Electric Cooperative and clearance for a food truck along Muddy Neck Road.
