Delaware State University prepares for homecoming parade

DOVER—Delaware State University is looking for individuals, groups, and organizations to participate in the 2024 Homecoming Parade, which will take place in Downtown Dover beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

It is free to participate. Registration can be done at https://www.desu.edu/about/homecoming/homecoming-parade-registration .

The parade route is just under a mile and begins at the intersection of Federal Street and Loockerman Street. It continues through Downtown Dover, north of N. Queen Street, east on Fulton Street, and onto the Delaware State University Downtown campus, the parade’s endpoint.
