In 2004, Heaven to Earth Rescue, Inc., an animal rescue and adoption center in New Philadelphia, opened its doors to animal lovers looking to bring a puppy into their homes. Joseph Feldman, veterinary technician and treasurer of the rescue, told the Cleveland Jewish News that he and his wife, Rachel Feldman, director of the rescue, got started with their work through volunteering at humane societies and other rescues.

Massillon Museum sets yoga Fridays in July
The Massillon Museum’s beginner-friendly yoga class will meet every Friday in July. All ages and levels are welcome to participate in restorative poses, vinyasa and a five-minute savasana. Bring a mat to the session, which will meet from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. The sessions will be held on the lawn when the weather allows.
