A major pool renovation project at Wooster High School in the Gault Recreation Center is expected to be completed in early August. Inside the time capsule were, among other things, old newspapers, an old book from the Garrettsville 120th Centennial and a song written about Garrettsville called “Old Garrettsville” that was sung by two girls, according to the James A. Recreational Marijuana Prohibited in Uhrichsville
The recreational use of marijuana is now prohibited within City of Uhrichsville limits. Council also voted on a few other matters. Among two separate ordinances up for vote, 12-24 prohibits the adult use of cannabis operations, include cultivators, processors, and dispensaries within city limits. The other, 13-24 emends the city’s codified ordinances to define and prohibit the cultivation, processing, and retail dispensing of cannabis for the purpose of adult recreational use in all zoning districts.
