NEWBURGH – A special meeting of the school board for Newburgh Enlarged City School District Thursday night got off to a pleasant start when board president John Doerre said he enjoyed the graduation ceremony Tuesday night. Village of Washingtonville, Tuesday June 25- As in previous years, Villagers walked along Main Street sidewalks, often for a half mile or more, carrying bouquets, pushing strollers and wheelchairs and some teens came to watch friends about to become graduates.
