RUTLEDGE, Tenn. ( WATE ) — An affidavit from Grainger County investigators is revealing what Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents and the Grainger County Sheriff’s Department found amid the search for suspect Aaron White , who is now in custody.

White, 34, of Morristown, a suspect in a double homicide in Bean Station , was taken into custody earlier this week, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. White has been charged with two counts of criminal homicide after the bodies of two men were found dead in the Bean Station community on May 25.

According to the affidavit, on May 25, GCSD detectives and TBI special agents began their investigation into the double homicide where the bodies were discovered at a property on Rocky Springs Road in Bean Station.

“A bank receipt documenting the defendant (White)’s account was discovered near where the bodies were dismembered after their death,” the affidavit states. “Physical evidence related to the killing of the victim(s) was discovered inside a secured and alarmed residence on the property to which the defendant, Aaron White had free access.”

The affidavit also states that cell phone records of the device known to be used by White revealed that the phone was connected to a nearby cell tower less than one mile from the scene of the killing. Investigators believe White shot and killed the victims Deven McDaniel and Jon Atkins on or about May 23.

A manhunt ensued in the search for White, who was added to the TBI’s Most Wanted List on June 15 after he was charged in the deaths of Jon Atkins , 49, and Deven McDaniel , 32.

Earlier this week, the Marshals Service located and captured White in the 4300 block of Dublin Lane in Morristown . Marshals Service officials said that the TBI and local law enforcement were conducting ground searches since that morning and tracked him back to the house. Grainger County Sheriff James Harville shared on Thursday that White is being held on a $5 million bond.

White is set to be in court on Aug. 15.
