Mack Brown and the North Carolina Tar Heels have a new recruiting target on their board for the 2025 class and he is an in-state running back. On Monday, the Tar Heels offered Jacksonville, North Carolina product Demon June a scholarship as part of the 2025 recruiting class. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound running back was offered after a trip to Chapel Hill this past weekend. The 2024 college football season is almost here, which means it is time to get ready to root for your North Carolina Tar Heels as they chase the elusive ACC title and CFP berth. UNC hasn’t claimed the ACC crown since 1980 and it is high time to end that skid. The Tar Heels open the 2024 slate on the road in a return matchup with the Minnesota Golden Gophers. UNC will face last year’s media darlings, the James Madison Dukes on Sept. 21 ahead of their annual rivalry matchup with the Duke Blue Devils. There is no matchup with the Clemson Tigers this season but draw the defending ACC champion Florida State Seminoles on Nov. 2 in Tallahassee.
