Internet sensation Hailey Welch, best known as Hawk Tuah from her famous online video , has set the record straight on her day job after wild speculations made the rounds on the web.

There was speculation that the 21-year-old Welch had been working as a pre-school teacher before her sudden online fame led to her alleged dismissal. However, she firmly quashed these assumptions stating: "I work in a spring factory. I'm not a school teacher or a bartender. I'm not even old enough to be a teacher, I'm 21!"

Along similar lines, she also squashed rumours about her family life, saying: "My dad is also not a preacher. He's so far from a preacher, it's crazy. None of it's true, it's all made up."

According to reports, the spring factory Hailey refers to is a factory in Belfast , Tennessee.

It's likely to be Tennessee Spring & Metal, which has manufatured coil springs for more than 60 years.

The company states: "From fine wire to large wire coiling, we produce reliable, long-lasting springs and wire forms at a competitive price."

It's not clear exactly Hailey did in the factory, which assembles and ships springs.

The company says: "Tennessee Spring & Metal produces more than 10 million pounds of springs each year. Whether you need a single spring or several truckloads, we’ll take care of you.
