A recent survey has discovered that residents of Louisiana actually do have a favorite swear word and because the word we love to not say in front of our mothers is so versatile we've managed to use it as a noun, a verb, an adjective, and I am pretty sure a few other parts of speech. Heck, I am sure someone somewhere even has this as their nickname.
Pelicans' rookie shines in second Summer League game
The Pelicans fell to a record of 0-2 after losing to the Orlando Magic 91-86 Sunday in Las Vegas. After a lackluster performance in their first outing against Minnesota, shooting just 30 percent from the field and 25 percent from three, the team eclipsed over 50 percent shooting and 35 percent from three. While the Pelicans lost the game, it was an encouraging outing for promising Pelicans players Jordan Hawkins and Yves Missi.
