As a gesture of goodwill to our lake neighbors, Lake Improvement Association past president Keith Westrick reached out to see if there was anything the Grand Lake LIA could do to help, and they indicated they needed help replacing trees that were destroyed at Moundwood and Fox Island.

Urbana City Council Encourages Police Academy
The Urbana City Council met in a regular meeting Tuesday night. Increase blanket purchase order number, 2024-00359 to Cherokee Run Landfill of $10,000 for sludge disposal. The purchase order was approved for $50,000 by the board of control earlier this year. The expense will be charged to the Sewer Fund and is in the 2024 budget.
