State Police conducting sobriety checkpoint on W.Va. 47
PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg detachment of the West Virginia State Police, in conjunction with the Commission on Drunk Driving Prevention, will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 8 p.m. tonight until 2 a.m. Saturday, on West Virginia 47 near Parkersburg, in the vicinity of the detachment. Motorists who wish to avoid the checkpoint may take an alternate route.
