Off-campus housing isn’t much cheaper — a recent report ranked Northeastern the eighth most expensive college to live off-campus in the United States, just behind Harvard (ranked seventh) and Boston University (ranked sixth). They became the house band at the famed Hillbilly Ranch venue and would introduce traditional Bluegrass music to scores of New Englanders. They are credited with heavily influencing the careers of Joe Val, Peter Rowan, and Bill Keith.
