Daytime Shooting in Charlestown, Boston Leaves One Injured; Police Seek Suspects Amid Community Concern
A daytime shooting in Charlestown has left one individual wounded amid an outbreak of gunfire near the intersection of Walford Way and O'Brien Court yesterday, according to the Boston police reports. The shooting, which occurred just before 4 p.m., resulted in one male victim being struck by a bullet, although the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening; at present, no suspects have been apprehended in relation to the event.
A late-night Taco Bell Cantina is opening Boston with a few changes
New changes are being made to the new late-night Taco Bell, opening under the Taco Bell Cantina franchise. The new location on Boylston Street in Fenway-Kenmore, located near Berklee College of Music, compared to other Taco Bell Cantina’s will include changes in third-party deliveries, store hours and liquor licenses, according to Boston.com.

They became the house band at the famed Hillbilly Ranch venue and would introduce traditional Bluegrass music to scores of New Englanders. They are credited with heavily influencing the careers of Joe Val, Peter Rowan, and Bill Keith. In 2002, the were inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame with long-time sideman Don Stover. It doesn't get much more traditional than the Lilly Brothers! Quincy, MA — Eighty-nine firefighters died while on duty or within 24 hours of duty last year, according to the National Fire Protection Association’s annual report. The total marks an 8.2% decrease from the 97 firefighter fatalities recorded in 2022, but is the second highest since 2013, when 98 on-duty deaths were recorded.
