    Beloit Memorial's Jaedyn Coleman wins two titles in Lake Country Lutheran meet

    HARTLAND, Wis. — Junior Jaedyn Coleman enjoyed an outstanding meet at the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning Invitational on Wednesday.

    Coleman won the shot put event with a heave of 49-feet, 3.5 inches and tied for first place in the discus with Andrew Gahan of Living Word Lutheran with a toss of 140-7. Teammates Tucker Sherrod and Ethan Lulinski were fifth (128-6) and eighth (100-07), respectively, in the discus competition.

    The only other first place by a Purple Knight was by Essence Coleman in the high jump, tying her personal record of 5-foot. She won despite not being able to practice because Beloit’s Memorial’s high jump pads are still in storage.

    The girls picked up a fourth from Jaslyn Gama in the 400 (1:05.38). She was also fifth in the 300 hurdles (54.97). Antonia Mance was sixth in the 400 (1:08.48) and Audrey Mills-Brown was seventh in the 200 (28.7).

    For the boys, Dontavious Olson was fifth in the 110 high hurdles (18.96). Armando Gonzalez was sixth in the 800 (2:23.15), Aidan Greenlee sixth in the 1600 (5:19.36) and Aiden Donovan seventh in the 300 hurdles (48.22).

    Beloit’s 4x400 team of Gonzalez, Sean Leavy, X’Zavion Voss and Greenlee was sixth in 4:01.13.

    The 4x800 team of Sean Leavy, Gonzalez, Duke Allen and Greenlee was ninth in 9:56.54.
