Heat and humidity on the rise
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - It is going to be a very hot and humid day across the Mid-Ohio Valley as we enter the middle of the week. We are still an active weather pattern, but that is not going to be much of a problem through today. This morning is already starting off very quiet with a few clouds around. It is a mild and muggy start to our Wednesday as temperatures start off in the upper 60s to low 70s. We will quickly climb up into the 90s this afternoon. However, as the muggy air continues to linger around, we will see the heat index push into the upper 90s. So, if you are spending time outside today, make sure to take frequent breaks and drink plenty of water.

The same itinerary has been used four times and is planned to be used again later this year. The Central Region of the group includes the Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Dallas chapters.
