On July 13 ARS Arts and Culture Center unveils a new public art mural from artist Ari Nadine Waters, an ARS Arts and Culture Center alumnus and recent graduate of Interlochen, who worked with Professional Muralist, Kim Wood, as part of the ARS continuing education program that gives opportunities to young artists.

K.I. Sawyer to renovate water system
K.I. SAWYER, Mich. (WLUC) - K.I. Sawyer is one step closer to renovating its water system. The K.I. Sawyer Water Department plans to make significant improvements to its water system. That includes refurbishing its water tower, adding backup power generators to wells, and replacing the watermain and some water meters. The Marquette County Board of Commissioners approved a bid from Smith Construction Inc. to do the project for under $5.5 million.
