FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Affordable housing is an ongoing issue across Northwest Arkansas. In April, the Fayetteville City Council declared a housing crisis. At the last council meeting on June 25, the manager for Countdown Properties LLC Brandon Scallion proposed the plan of converting the Quality Inn motel off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard into affordable housing.
