At approximately 6:33 PM, Deputies Clark and Keller, along with Corporal Shockey, arrived at the location where Cutlip was believed to be hiding.

Upon arrival, deputies spotted the suspect’s vehicle in the driveway and were met by Cutlip’s mother outside the house.

Deputy Keller observed Cutlip on the front porch and ordered him to stop and come to the deputies.

Cutlip ignored the commands and retreated into the trailer, emerging moments later with a running chainsaw.

Shouting that he would not return to jail and that officers would have to kill him, Cutlip continued to escalate the situation.

Despite repeated commands to stop and put down the chainsaw, Cutlip’s behavior grew increasingly erratic.

Fearing for the safety of everyone involved, Deputy Keller deployed his taser, successfully causing Cutlip to drop the chainsaw and fall off the porch.

A brief foot pursuit ensued, leading to Cutlip’s apprehension without further incident.

Cutlip is now in custody, facing charges from multiple agencies across various counties.

He is currently at Eastern Regional Jail on a $4,000 bond.
