DOVER — A convicted rapist who trapped his ex-girlfriend will spend at least the next three decades in prison. Jesse Meneses, 38, of Dover was sentenced to 40 years in state prison on Friday, according to Morris County Acting Prosecutor Maggie Calderwood. He will not be eligible for parole until 2056 and must also register as a sex offender under Megan's Law.

MIDDLESEX — A California man has been charged with installing a skimming device on an ATM at a store in the Central Jersey borough in March, police said. A skimmer is a device that scammers attach to card readers to steal card data and PINs. The data can then be used to either make unauthorized purchases, withdraw cash from ATMs or create counterfeit cards.
Edison Woman Killed by Fallen Tree at New York Campground
EDISON, NJ - A woman from Edison Township was killed by a downed tree at a campground in Delaware County, New York, according to the Colchester Police Department. Authorities say they have identified the victim as Carol E. Luistro. Police say they received numerous reports of trees down at campsites on Saturday due to a passing storm. Suspect Arrested After Newark Stabbing: Police
At 7 a.m., police responded to West Market Street and Central Avenue for a report of a stabbing, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Police located a man who had been stabbed by another man following an alteration, Fragé said.
