Berkeley Heights proudly celebrates one of its own, Lieutenant Colonel Bill Toft, who recently attained the esteemed rank of Lieutenant Colonel at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. A distinguished member of the 82nd Airborne Division, Bill Toft's journey from his roots in Berkeley Heights to his current role is nothing short of inspiring.

Bill's story begins in Berkeley Heights, where he grew up and attended Governor Livingston High School. A natural leader, he served as the commander of the Junior ROTC Battalion, setting the stage for his future in military service. His commitment to duty and leadership qualities shone brightly during his formative years.

The recent promotion ceremony at Fort Liberty was a testament to Bill's dedication and the support of his family.
