BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ – The Berkeley Heights Recreation Summer Concert Series kicked off last Wednesday at Memorial Park, uniting families and friends for an evening of music and entertainment. Attendees enjoyed a performance by The 7th Realm, a rock band celebrated for playing high-energy hits from various decades.
Kids were delighted by the bouncy castle provided by the Berkeley Heights Recreation Department and played at the park's playground, soaking in the lively atmosphere. They also eagerly lined up to choose from various designs of temporary brush tattoos.
Representatives from the Mount Carmel Society promoted the upcoming Feast and Festival, which begins on July 12-16 at Mount Carmel Field, 56 River Rd, Berkeley Heights. They sold 50/50 tickets for the annual event, adding to the community spirit.
The Recreation Department sold ice cream, while Chick-fil-A and Va Fa Napoli Pizza offered food for attendees to purchase and enjoy during the concert. Water was donated by Stop and Shop.
The concert and surrounding activities were organized by the Berkeley Heights Recreation Commission, thanks to many event sponsors, including season-long sponsors Fiserv, Round Table Studios & Field House, and Paul Ippolito Memorial.
The Concert in the Park series promises more fun and great performances in the coming weeks, bringing the community together every Wednesday evening at Memorial Park and at The Grove at The Park.
July 10: The Nines will perform at Memorial Park from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
July 17: Steppin Out will perform at Memorial Park from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
