If you tuned in to watch the Democratic National Convention, you might have seen a few familiar faces from Montclair and Essex County. Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill and Essex County Commissioner Brendan Gill, both of Montclair, were in Chicago for the DNC. Sherrill, who is considering a run for governor of New Jersey, spoke at a DNC event honoring women in national security. Gill, who was joined by his wife, Assemblywoman Alixon Collazos-Gill, served as a delegate.
