Racker Rivals Big Red hockey game happening July 27th
ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — On July 27th, 2024, Racker will be hosting their annual exhibition game to benefit Racker’s Early Childhood Service Program. Racker, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide care and proper resources for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is now in their tenth year of putting on the Racker Rivals Big Red hockey game. Since the first annual game in 2014, Racker has raised over $1.2 million, all of which has gone to various facets of the Early Childhood Services Program.

Five Cornellians Join The 2024 USA Hockey Women’s National Festival
Lexi Woodcock/Cornell Athletics ITHACA, N.Y. - Five Cornellians will take the stage in the 2024 USA Hockey Women's National Festival, which will be held from August 4-11 in Lake Placid, N.Y. at the Olympic Center. The Festival will include 75 players who are currently either playing professionally or at the collegiate level. Grace Dwyer '25, Lily Delianedis '25, Rory Guilday '25, Annelies Bergmann '27, and Izzy Daniel '24 will represent the Big Red during the festival. NYTHA Gifts $25,000 to Cornell's New Equine Program
The New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association (NYTHA) has made a generous contribution of $25,000 to support the development of Cornell Equine. This cross-campus program, rooted in Cornell University's rich legacy of scientific research clinical care and education, and based at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, aims to advance equine health and education through enhanced collaboration amongst interdisciplinary teams.

He began Sunday with a single-stroke lead following a middle-round 62 and his 17-under, 54-hole total was good for a three-stroke margin over runner-up Monday qualifier Bruce Vaughan.

UAlbany to host Cornell in 2025
The UAlbany Great Danes announced their 2024 football schedule earlier this year, and it included a non-conference contest on the road against the Cornell Big Red. That contest is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024 at Schoellkopf Field in Ithaca, N.Y. The game will mark the second meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
