Montgomery residents hang banner for hometown hero and Olympian Elle St. Pierre
MONTGOMERY, Vt. — The love for Vermont native and Olympian Elle St. Pierre just keeps pouring in after her stellar performance at the recent Olympic Track & Field Trials. St. Pierre's performance in Eugene, Oregon was historic, and ended with St. Pierre taking first place in the women's 5,000 meter with a record time in the trials, along with a sub-four-minute time in the 1,500 meters.
