Graduate School of Management earns spot on Princeton Review list of best business schools
The Marquette Graduate School of Management has been named to The Princeton Review’s 2024 list of the country’s best business schools. The list includes 244 graduate-level business programs, which were selected using a combination of institutional and student survey data on career outcomes, selectivity of admissions and academic rigor, among other factors. This year’s survey data was taken from administrators at 409 business schools and more than 32,000 students enrolled in these schools’ MBA programs.
7-18-24 scott street closure update
Due to excavation issues, Scott Street will NOT re-open until Saturday morning to allow for pavement restoration across all lanes of Scott Street. West Scott Street is closed between Temperance Street and Madison Street. The closure began Tuesday morning to allow the water utility to replace and restore a water service on West Scott Street.
Fox Valley Boys and Girls Club Announces New Location
The Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley has announced that a new location will be coming to the area. On Monday (July 15th), they confirmed the new location will be in Neenah on the corner of Byrd Avenue and Marathon Avenue and will break ground on September 3rd.

3 from Manitowoc arrested in June robbery of 18 Hands Ale Haus in Fond du Lac
FOND DU LAC – Three suspects have been arrested in the 18 Hands Ale Haus robbery that occurred June 24, Fond du Lac Police Department said in a news release July 16. The robbery had occurred around 8:40 p.m. at the bar at 18 E. Division St., during which a staff member was thrown to the ground before the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash, the department said.
7-17-24 arrests made in connection with fdl tavern robbery
Three Manitowoc residents, two adults and a juvenile have been arrested in connection with a robbery last month of a downtown Fond du Lac tavern. The robbery occured June 24th at the 18 Hands Ale Haus on East Division Street. A staff member was thrown to the ground and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. Following up on tips police have arrested a 26 year old Manitowoc man and 23 year old Manitowoc woman on charges of party to a crime of robbery. Police say a search of a Manitowoc home located evidence of the robbery. A 16 year old Manitowoc juvenile was also arrested.
