Marian University receives $29 million for osteopathic medicine
Marian University in Indianapolis has announced a $29 million gift from the Tom and Julie Wood Family Foundation in support of osteopathic medicine. The largest individual gift in university history will name the Tom and Julie Wood College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, the funding will support facility enhancements at the Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences, establish an endowed scholarship for primary care physicians aiming to practice in Indiana, and create endowed faculty positions, as well as help expand clinical rotations and new clinical sites for students.
